We are located in the heart of Helsinki at Bulevardi 2–4, right at the intersection of the bustling city center and the creative Design District. We are just an easy 10-minute walk from the Central Railway Station.
Our hotel sits at the start of Bulevardi, a street loved by locals for its historic architecture, art galleries, and great coffee. If you walk a few minutes in one direction, you’re at the Esplanadi Park and the harbor; walk the other way, and you’re deep in the Design District exploring independent boutiques and local workshops.
Whether you're here for the legendary nearby restaurants, the sea air at the Market Square, or just to wander the cobblestone streets, everything that makes Helsinki is right outside our front door.
HOW CAN I PAY AT THE HOTEL?
At Klaus K Hotel we accept all major debit and credit cards, and cash.
HOW DO I REACH THE HOTEL FROM THE AIRPORT?
- Train: Commuter trains I and P run frequently from the airport to the Central Railway Station. The journey takes approximately 30–35 minutes, and a ticket (zones ABC) is €4.10. From the station, we are a short 10-minute walk or a quick tram ride away. See information here.
- Taxi: Taxis are readily available at the airport. The drive typically takes 30 minutes. We recommend using official taxi ranks and confirming the fare (often a fixed rate) before departing.
WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?
We partner with the Aimo Park Erottaja garage, located just a few steps from our front door.
- Location: Yrjönkatu 8–10.
- Process: As the garage utilizes a camera-based plate recognition system, please provide your registration number to our reception team upon arrival to activate your guest rate.
- Our hotel guests receive a 20% discount on parking fees at Aimo Park Erottaja. Please request your discount voucher from our reception.
- Before entering the garage, please ensure all automatic parking apps (such as EasyPark or Parkman) are disabled. This prevents the system from charging your app automatically at the standard rate. When leaving, use both your entry ticket and the discount voucher at the payment machine. The 20% discount cannot be applied if the payment is processed through a mobile app.

WHEN IS CHECK-OUT?
Check-out is at 12:00 (noon). If you wish to linger a little longer, a late check-out until 14:00 can be arranged subject to availability.
WHAT IS YOUR ROOM CLEANING POLICY?
In our commitment to sustainability and the environment, we offer cleaning upon request. This initiative helps us conserve water and energy. If you would like your room serviced, simply notify reception by 14:00 (2PM) for same-day cleaning. For service the following day, please inform us by 18:00 (6PM). This service is, of course, included in your room rate.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
Certainly. We welcome your furry companions to stay with you. For an additional fee of just €15 per night, your pet can enjoy their very own pamper package, including tasty treats, food and water bowls for use during your stay, and dedicated towels for your pet companion. You can easily add our pet-package to your reservation as an extra service when booking.
HOW SHOULD I EXPLORE THE CITY?
Helsinki is best discovered through its local stories. Our reception team is always available to share "insider" recommendations or help you navigate Helsinki. We recommend purchasing public transport day passes from a HSL sales and service point. See info here. You can also find the We Speak Gay map in our lobby.
WHAT SIGHTSEEING IS CLOSE TO THE HOTEL?
Because we are located exactly where the city center meets the Design District, many of Helsinki’s most iconic landmarks are just a short walk from our front door. If you head south for five minutes, you will find the Design Museum and the Museum of Finnish Architecture, which serve as the creative heart of our neighborhood.
A stroll down Bulevardi brings you to the lush Esplanadi Park, which leads directly to the sea and the historic Old Market Hall. For those seeking modern culture, we are surrounded by world-class art. The surreal architecture of Amos Rex and the contemporary exhibitions at Kiasma are both less than ten minutes away. Nearby, you can also explore the Helsinki Art Museum (HAM), located in the historic Tennis Palace building.
If you are looking for an authentic Finnish sauna experience, we recommend visiting Löyly for its stunning modern architecture or Allas Sea Pool for a dip in the harbor. For a more traditional vibe, the legendary Kotiharjun Sauna is a short tram ride away. Finally, the iconic Helsinki Cathedral and Senate Square are reachable on foot in about twelve minutes.

Absolutely. While our rooms are designed for rest, our lobby and lounge areas are perfect for catching up on emails or hosting informal meetings. We offer fast, secure, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel to keep you connected. If you need a more private setting, we also have several creative meeting rooms available for booking.
DO YOU HAVE SPACES FOR MEETINGS AND EVENTS?
Klaus K is a premier destination for both business and celebrations, offering a variety of creative spaces that adapt to your needs. For larger gatherings, the Rake Ballroom combines historic elegance with modern technology, accommodating up to 120 guests for seminars or weddings. For more intimate or contemporary sessions, Studio K and our Stage rooms provide high-tech environments designed for workshops and brainstorming.
If you are looking for total privacy, Wintti is a secluded penthouse space perfect for board meetings or exclusive dinners. During the summer, our Sky Terrace offers an unforgettable backdrop for cocktail receptions and launches. WHERE IS THE GYM?
The Klaus K gym offers a versatile range of fitness equipment for exercise enthusiasts. The gym is open 24/7, allowing you to enjoy a workout according to your own schedule. You can find the gym located on floor 2A.
IRONING AND LAUNDRY
All Mini, Comfort, Superior and Deluxe rooms are equipped with high-quality steamers as standard. Sky rooms are equipped with an iron and ironing board. Should you prefer a traditional iron or a steamer, please contact reception. We have both available upon request
We also provide laundry service. Please drop off your laundry at the reception by 8:45 AM for same-day service. Your clean clothes will be delivered back to you by 6:00 PM.
- Availability: Service is available Monday through Friday. Please note there is no service on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
- Service Fee: A service charge of 20 € will be added to the laundry price list total.
- Payment: All charges will be added directly to your room bill.
DO YOU OFFER LUGGAGE STORAGE?
Yes, we have a secure luggage room available for our guests. Whether you arrive before your room is ready or wish to explore the city after checking out, you are welcome to store your bags with us free of charge.
DO YOU HAVE ROOM SERVICE?
Yes, we want you to enjoy the best of our culinary offerings in the total comfort of your room. You can easily order a bottle of sparkling wine, refreshing drinks, or other delicacies from our room service menu. CAN I GET A LATE NIGHT SNACK?
If you have a craving outside of restaurant hours, our reception shop is open 24/7. We stock a curated selection of snacks and refreshing drinks.
WHAT IF I FORGOT TO PACK SOMETHING?
Don't worry, we have you covered. At our reception, we have our very own borrowing station for the things you might have left behind. We stock all the essentials, from extra shampoos and toiletries to power adapters. You can rent umbrellas from our Dripdrop station for those unpredictable Helsinki days.

CAN I OPEN THE WINDOWS IN MY ROOM?
To ensure the safety of all our guests and the efficiency of our climate control systems, guest room windows are fixed and cannot be opened.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO STAY AT KLAUS K?
Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check in alone. Minors staying without a legal guardian must provide a signed parental consent form prior to arrival. The guardian assumes all financial responsibility for the stay and acknowledges that the hotel does not provide supervision for the minor.
