Rake Ballroom has a long and colorful history and has proven to be a highly versatile function room. The ballroom was originally built as the gymnasium of the German school for girls, but its later functions included being the concert Hall of the predecessor of the Sibelius Academy – and later a carpet department.

Direct access to Rake Ballroom is from Erottajankatu 4C, (floor 5), but you can also get there from the hotel lobby (Bulevardi 2-4).
People have danced, trained, toasted and made great decisions and promises in this ballroom. The Rake Ballroom has been available for hire for private and business functions since 1986. Klaus K is proud to hire this historical space to both business and private customers. The ballroom accommodates up to 120 guests. Rake Ballroom was renovated in 2007, and its AV equipment was renewed in 2014. It is a great meeting space and ballroom in Helsinki City Center.
