Japanese Traditional Craft Art and Design Exhibition and Lectures in Klaus K

Japanese-Traditional-Craft-Art-and-Design-Embassy-600x400px-web

Allure of traditional Japanese craft attributes to Japanese local materials. Japan’s terrain from the northernmost point to the southernmost point is about 4600km and affluent of different materials used for craft products. The Japanese artisans of different regions have own unique techniques and love for the materials. We are proud to introduce Japanese modern designs in which the philosophy is based on Japanese traditional craft.

The Japanese word “Kodawari” means the effort to achieve a unique identity. Artisans are aware of Kodawari, no matter how long it may take, no matter how much it may cost. The care only for the satisfaction to meet the perfection. This is a love story of Japanese tradition, the skills and natural materials.
